which tranny do I have?

Quick question...my new 95' F-150 2 wheel drive w/ I-6 & auto...which tranny do I have E40D OR 4R70W...& what is the difference?

E4OD is probably the one you have.

look at door sticker and if it is an E than that is what you have.

now, drain the trans. and torque convertor and put in a new filter and you will be happy and so will your trans.

add a bottle of lucas trans. conditioner.

do a search in transmission forum or here for how to do this if you need help.

Better hope it doesn't go on you. They're very expensive to rebuild. I'm looking at a $2000 bill soon.
