I hadn't thought about this before, but if you guys ever see just the Explorer power seat "tracks" for sale by themselves, you might also consider them. The seats I got out of a '99 Explorer have some very nice tracks, constructed primarily of a strong but light-weight aluminum with everything you need power-wise (motors, connectors, etc). being a part of the track assembly, except for the switches which are on the seat side covers. I'm thinking you could fairly easily adapt whatever switches are contained on other seats from the other models to work with the Explorer seat track motors.
The Explorer seat tracks have a nice even (i.e., flat) "top" and the seat-to-track mounting holes are all square to one another, making the tracks seemingly highly amenable to modification and adaptation to some other seats. And as was mentioned earlier in the thread, the Explorer seat tracks for (all intents and purposes) "bolt-in" to the Ranger.
'90s splashes came with buckets and a console. have a friend that owns one. i offered him some cash but he said no. i guess he wondered what he'd sit on. lol!
