kickdown setup for a 78 302/C6 combo.
I am looking to install a kickdown cable setup in my 78 F100. It originally had a 3 speed column shift, we converted over to a C6. The shift points are too close and adjusting the screw in the modulator doesn't seem to give me what I want. Can I purchase this setup from an aftermarket company, like summit? or will I have to get a setup from a junk yard?
any help would be appreciated

kickdown setup for a 78 302/C6 combo.
The easiest is to go to the wreckers and find a 302 C6 combo (should be many to choose from) and get the kickdown from it. It is simple to remove, just an E-clip on the carburetor and a nut on the side of the transmission on the same shaft as the neutral safety switch and the shifter.
