No apology necssary. We've all been guilty of changing the subject of threads, even myself. Our threads seem to have minds of their own at times and can just run all over the place.

What makes the AIS/Donaldson better than say the AFE Stage II? Can it also be purchased from Ford dealerships?

Airflow, filtering and dirt holding for $200. The AFE is more than 2X the price
with not that much better airflow AND u don't need that much airflow for steet.

Agree with you Nut!! You should be able to purchase the AIS from Ford, but you'll probably find it cheaper somewhere else unless you've got some connections at the dealership that can get you discounted parts.
