Alternator Noise
I have a 2002 F-150. The last few days I've noticed a vibration sound at idle. It is getting worse each day. Using a stethascope, the "growling" is coming from the alternator. How long do I have before it needs attention?
Are there bearings to replace or do I need to replace the entire alternator?

yeah hey how's it goin...yes there are bearings in the alternator, but unless u wanna take it to an alternator shop, you'd be better off just replacing it...i personally would get it taken care of quickly...if u wait to long u could run into charging problems...
