Permanent 12 volt power supply help.

I have a 2006 frod expedition & I have a sirius "plug & play" unit I want to permanently mount in my car.

I'm tired of tying up the cig. lighter with powering the sirius as I want my phone charger there.

SO, How can I hard wire the sirius to a constant 12 volt supply w/o/ using the lighter? Can I use the fusebox? How? Other options?

i would recommend finding a 12 volt accesory on ur fuse page in ur manual and hard wiring to there

Look under the console and see if you do not have extra Power point wires that are not being used. I think it is called Power Port on the wiring diagrams for the Central junction box.

I had one for the Cigarette lighter, one for the power port on the rear of the console,and one unused one under the console.
