4 mufflers?

has anyone ever used 4 mufflers before? I was just thinking about this the other day and figured I would ask and see. Would it sound good at all?

I usually go overboard on things and was just considering it, and was wondering what it would sound like.

probly 4 series 40 flowmasters, they will each be on their own pipe, not behind one another. What I was thinking was starting it like a dual exhaust setup, except having each pipe break into two more pipes with a muffler on each.

If I'm imagining this correctly, I'll bet that is going to be overkill on the flow and you will hurt your engine performance.

I disagree. You still have duals in front of the 4 mufflers and 4 pipes. No different than duals with 4 big exhaust tips. Only thing about that setup is extra weight and cost. No improvment in sound or power.
