Hi all, looking for a new trans any experience with these? Price is $3447 with free shipping.I have a local guy that will install for $600.Also looking at john woods. any input would be great.

You asked for any input on it so here goes:
I'm going to build a MB for mine once it takes a dump (been planning on it for quite some time). $1175 and some of MY time. Sounds like a great deal for a nearly bulletproof slushbox.

Jasper used to build the "Monster Box". They stopped, but you can get their class II race trans which is the same unit minus the valve body. Add sonax and tricumulator and your there for a grand less.
