Remote Start
I installed a Commando EZ2500 Remote start in my 2000 F150 the keyless entry works great but when I hit the button for the remote start nothing happens at all is this because I do not have the alarm bypass module in it yet or could there be another problem I am not seeing Thanks

Your Black with White stripe wire NEEDS to be grounded. This is the neutral safety switch wire. If you do not have it grounded the remote start is disabled.
You will need the bypass module to start your truck. I recommend the PKF1 module for your truck provided it was built before July 24, 2000. This module only requires one key to program and works great. All that's needed it to hook ground and ignition to it and then the two remaining wires you hook to the RX and TX wires on PATS module. Connect the brown wire to the yellow wire on your system. After hooked up just turn your key on and it's programmed.
If it was built after July 24, 2000 then I recommend the 1L3Z-19G365-AB from ford. This is a transponder ring that goes around your ignition. Just cut the black plug off the end that has the red, black, and white wires on it. Connect red to 12 volts constant and connect black to your active output wire on your system. This would be the yellow wire on the 5 pin connector on your system.
