ATS question

Do you need an intake adaptor (3" to 4") when installing the ATS housing?

I believe it comes with an adapter.

Mine came with a 4" intake tube, so no adaptor was necessary.

That intake tube is my term for an adapter in this case.

I was in agreement with what you were saying. Point is, it comes with what you need -- whatever it's called.

Is there any advantage to running a whole new 4" intake rather then using the adapter w/ the stock intake..?

For performance, not really. I'm sure it would help a bit, but the amount would be very marginal. For appearance though, the full metal intakes, IMO, look very clean. I'd love to have a custom metal tube that runs from my filter to the intake on my ATS. But, spending $$ for pure looks is just tough for me to swallow.
