Well, here we are again heading into the countdown for the weekend....

What's the big plans? I'm looking at a weather forecast calling for two sunny days in the high 60's so I'm going to try and get a few things handled.

1. Put the grill in the front clip and bolt the whold danged thing on the truck and try to align things to minimize the dreaded "Hood Hokey Pokey"

2. Start making measurements on the new bed floor I aquired (see pic below) and try and figure out how to make it all work.

3. Remove a few leaves from the front spring stacks.

Good luck to you all this weekend!
Bobby

I am into carts this weekend - going to build one for my weed spray rig, and one to hold my 390. Hopefully this will get me enough experance to finish the stick welder part of the welding article.

Well it seems like it will be nice this weekend. I will do some homework, hopefully work on my center console, possibly my bed, do some more homework, and maybe visit some friends. Good luck with your projects.

It'll be a very quiet weekend/month for me. I just got home from the hospital today. Had a heart attack a week ago wednesday night, sluffed it off, had another one sunday night. Figured I better check in before I checked out.

So things will be real quiet for sometime.

(And I'm only 52. Thank God, only the good die young)

Glad to be here

Fergie,

What???? You better start taking better care of yourself. The men in my family check out early too, work like dogs all their lives and check out in their late 50's. Now with modern technology its a bit better. Both my dad and uncle have had several heart attacks and both have recently had triple bypasses. Dad's 66 and my uncle is 70 and both extremely healthy otherwise.

Take care of yourself!!

Bobby

Hopefully I'll be able to finish the ''new'' master bathroom and get back to the shop so I can finish welding the roof back on, on the truck, not the shop. (I wish people would stop calling it a chop) I might also get to pick up my engine this weekend. Good luck guys, post up on Monday so we all know what we did. Hoist a cold Corona for Ferguson

And there you go hijacking a thread again....

Really, Man, take care of yourself. Fenders is playing in the sand. We got nobody to keep us cracking up.

Stop it! You don't want to end up like me when you get older. Take care of yourself. There is only one you.

(2 heart attacks, stink in heart, subdural hematoma, ESRD (end stage renal disease), kidney failure, dialysis (alomst 6 years), coma, completely paralyzed>--wheel chair>--walker>---cane>---relatively normal. Peritoneal infection, coma, loss of hearing. Then the good stuff, Kidney transplant, cochlear implant. There is more in there, but I forget what all.)

Guess I'm not good at all if the good die young.

later,
Brian

Ferg,

Take care of yourself bud. This is serious stuff! It's time to give up smokin', drinkin', carousin', and all those other good things that make life worth living if you want to see 60. I came close to having one about 10 years ago but a catherization cleared it up. Maybe that's what you need. I hope you are okay. Keep us informed...

The wife and I are up here at the Parent's house in Genoa, NV for a weekend getaway. The Parents migrate down to Aptos (south of Santa Cruz) for the winter!! We are just down the road from Carson City so we're gonna take a ride over to Concours Parts in Carson City and look around. Then it's time for some backroad exploring in the Land Cruiser!

Mostly worked on new master bathroom and house projects (moving ceiling lights, stripped finish off front door and restained, stripped kitchen cabinet doors and repainted (GOMD decided she didn't like the color) started layout for new master bedroom, walk-in closet, new office for me) did take time to sneak out to shop and do a little more welding on my sectioning project. Oh, yeah, watched the cup race too. Go Kennseth/Rousch!!!!!!!!!!!!
