How many of you guys are thinking or have switched becuase of the new 6.0L Powerstroke. Which has it been Dodge or Chevy/GMC?

That's a poor choice of words, especially in the 6.0 forum. I would like to suggest posing queries like this in 'Ford vs The Competition' forum. Thanks.

What a troublemaker...I mean jokester.....

If you had more posts, and it was obvious you were really a Powerstroke owner, then I might listen to your petty complaints regarding real problems that a few of the many 6.0's have experienced.

But you don't, so I won't!

Hey take it easy......GM finally has a diesel since earlier attempts failed miserably, so give the Isuzu owners some respect .......

I was considering that move, and decided to gut it out, and get my problems solved. I am glad I did. I am still bitter about the loss of my PI and my neutered T/H, but my SCT tranny tune helps with that. I am keeping my beast !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really wish there was a way to track ALL the owners of 6.0's opinions, instead of just the ones that come to this site with problems.

Others have said it better than I can, but if a person is 100% satisified with their truck (or ANY vehicle) they would have no need to say anything on any of these sites.

I now own my second 6.0, and haven't had any more problems with them than I have had with any other automobiles I have owned.

I read an article the other day about the new Porsche Cayman. MSRP of base model is around 60k. In this article it said, like most Porsche models, you should anticipate taking it to the dealer to 'fine tune' it. I owned a Porsche 911. It had 'problems', like most any mass produced automobile will have, but it was a fine car.

If you buy anything nowadays, you might get something excellent, something 'as advertised' or a lemon. It's just the nature of things. Doesn't matter whether it's a car/truck, computer, TV, house, or any other thing that you can think of.

There is a saying that says something like - If you have a good experience with something, you might tell 6 people. If you have a bad experience, you will tell 60.

I found this site after I bought my first diesel, and it contains a wealth of good information, and many knowledgeable people visit here. But many, MANY people only come here with 'problems'. So it may appear at first glance that Ford has an inferior product.

I for one do not think that is the case. I think what Ford has is what every other manufacturer has. A mass produced product that for the most part delivers what it advertises. Not always, of course not. But if we could ask every single owner, I believe you would find that most are happy.

I apologize for 'ranting', I try not to do that but sometimes I can't control myself.

ALL the Ford vehicles I have owned have served me well. I've had a bunch. Some I had to take to the dealer with problems, some I didn't. Again, I understand that some will get a 'bad one', but that certainly doesn't make them ALL bad.

Only my opinion, I hope it is accepted as such.

I've met few people 100% satisfied with their truck. That's why there are so many mods you can do. As for problems with the 6.0 I,m sure a few people switched, but this is a hell of a place to ask a question like that. What were you thinking? If it was a sincere question you should have left out the "powerjoke" comment.
