What BigF350 said. IMO the biggest benefit of becoming a ClubFTE member is that those adverts that pop-up when you scroll over a word in a post are gone. And for someone like me that reads by scrolling your mouse over words, it's a blessing.

I am amazed that this has remained so civil and that the mods let it stay (thanks). I left my 6.0 at the Dodge dealer. Some of the regulars may recognize me, most will not, I had alot of problems and had to take another route. I am happy with my choice, the Cummins is doing great. There are a few little things that I like better about the 04 F-250, but I have to say, the lack of trips to the dealer far outweigh them. To those who love theirs and think that these types of websites are ONLY for people who either are here to b*&(& and complain, I also now frequent a Dodge site and I have to say that only about 1 or 2 of 100 threads are negative there, most are people looking for mod ideas, bragging about the fun they had or just talking about what they have done to their trucks. And to those who have not had a single problem, consider yourselves very lucky because those who do have problems; as you can see in the hundreds of terrible stories on here and other sites, are extremely bad. Hope no one takes all of this wrong, I still like to come here and read up on the latest trends and to possibly share a little info, I still know a lot about how these things work too and still work with the trucks every day. Have fun guys (and gals).
I've only owned Ford trucks. A Ranger and 2 F150s. But I drive tons of diesels for work. All Fords as well, a lot of 7.3s and 1 6.0. A bunch of my buddies have the 6.0 as well.
Anyway, my next truck will be a diesel with a manual because I'm sick of problems with power, room, and reliability mostly in the trans department. I've had problems with every Ford auto that I've ever had. (94 E4OD and 2000 4R70W)
Unfortunately I can't trust the 6.0. I'm just sick of vehicle problems and want to steer clear of anything that might be problematic. I'm thinking that my next truck might be a Dodge with a Cummins and a 6 speed. How the next PSD goes might change that because I really like the rest of the Ford truck just a little better than the Ram.
Tyler_02 I went from powerstroke to duramax, and back to powerstroke. They are both good trucks. If you go to Duramax let me know, because I'm trying to trade my duramax edge juice w/ attitude monitor even up for a 6 liter edge juice w/ attitude monitor.
I just noticed somthing REALLY FUNNY! (Guilty Myself)

He's just like the jerk VP's that I used to fly around...They walk in and start a bunch of ***** and then haul A$$ and let everyone tear into each other.
It looks like the majority of us prefer Powerstrokes otherwise we would be in the wrong forum
Maybe everryone should send Tyler_02 a PM to invite a response
I think the cummins is a GREAT engine... Problem is that it comes inside a dodge.
If I could buy a Ford with a Cummins I would.
Having said that... I think the Powerstroke is a GREAT engine and I'm completely satisfied with it.
I think the Dodge is an ugly truck and the interior styling is horrible also.
My friend who owns a Dodge with a cummins said the common 'thing' on his cummins forum is for Dodge diesel owners is to claim they own a "cummins" not a Dodge.
I've heard rumors that Dodge now that they are part of Mercedes may have a European Diesel engine in the future.. Leaving Cummins without a truck to put there engine in. I hope they get hooked up with Ford.
Well after owning over 70 Ford products (7) E350’s and (1) 05 f350 cc 4x4 currently, I am sad to say, I can’t handle the constant frustration and lack of faith in my truck.
I just ordered an International 7500 SFA 4x4 crew cab with a HT570. My main irritation is every time they changed my turbo they scratched or damaged something. I will say they have done a good job trying to keep me happy. Improved CAC tubes, new degase bottle, new alternator, 2 turbo’s., shimmed my drive shaft, reflashed 2 times, new EGR.
All this and I only have 10,000 miles on the truck. I do love the way it drives minus the surging and puking when towing. Just so you guys don’t think I am bashing Ford The main reason for the change is if the new truck needs service, tip the nose and work, a lot better than remove the cab and work.
That is one h3!! of a difference, from an F-350 w/ a "VT365" engine to a 7500 IH with a "HT570" engine. I imagine if you needed that big of a truck you should have gone that route to begin with, unless of course you are just seriously overdoing it now that is. Good luck, the International engine in the new truck is made by the same International that makes the "VT365" or 6.0L in your F-350.

His sig shows he owns a Cummins... errrr.... Dodge, so he's on the TDR reporting his trolling results. Sad waste of time really.
You’re absolutely correct, I am over doing it but I have always been the king of over kill. I notice in your signature line your from Texas . You should be proud to live in a right to work state as my truck is coming from Garland, and everyone I have had to deal with in Texas has shown me great hospitality. And after viewing the assembly line I am proud to have a Texan build my truck. 310HP 1150ft lbs Now that’s a diesel.
