There are many different EEC V "calibrations", according to what transmission, emmissions requirements etc... You'll have to look on the computer itself if the driver's door sticker is gone. These are just the ones for 6.8L V10 Super Duties for the model year 2002:
wow. Well the drivers door jamb sticker is there, but there weren't any codes that really stood out, I'll print this and head out there and take a look.
It's not on the door jamb. The sticker is a 3/4 x 1/2 sticker located under the three black gromets where the mirror is fastened. It has a barcode on top, 2 computer part numbers in small type under it and the calibration code in large-type under that.
My truck is a 2003 1/2 but the sticker itself is so water-damaged and faded that I can't hardly read it anymore. I know it says FMW1 from what I remember but I couldn't tell if I had seen it for the first time.
Hi Guy's,Was wondering if any of you know the calibration code for a manual trans equipped '02 6.8L V10? I have an '02 model engine from a genset that ran on natural gas. I want to try to stuff this engine in my Australian Falcon Van but I'll need an EECV/harness to do it. The idea is to use an Aussie LE-97 4 speed auto trans which I'll control with a Falcon pcm and use a manual trans EECV for the V10 engine.Hope you can help,Pete.
