I bought a set of floor mats from the dealer. They are the rubber Super Duty ones. In less than a year the driver side tore in the area where the hook goes through the hole. Anyway, I'm gonna get a new set cause you can't just buy the drivers mat, you have to get another complete set. The passenger and rear mats look brand new. Which ones have you guys have good luck with?
here is what i did. First i just left the stock mats in and then i went to pepboys and bought a rubber mat that crosses the entire floor in the front....then i bought an separate mats that go on each side that say ford. It protects the carper from just about everything and has lasted very well i have had them in the truck for over 131000 miles and they still don't show any signs of wear.
Edit: just make sure you buy the thickest one they have.
I have the set from Costco. I too left the stock mats in and threw these in on top. They hold a lot of water and mud. I've had them for about two years and they hardly look worn. They cost about $20, and they come in a set two for the front and two smaller for the rear. I think the only colors are tan and grey. When these finally do wear out I'll just get another set.
Does anyone have a set of mats that fully cover the carpeted area below the seats just above the sill plates? My kids are always dragging their dirty feet across this area.

i have used weather techs in my last three trucks, and like them much better than the husky mats i had previously. the Floorliner model is awesome. absolute custom fit. holds liquids, but also extends over the sill so you can just sweep or hose them off. pricey, but well worth it. had my last superduty for 3 years and there was no wear mark from my clutch foot! like them so much i ordered front and rears for my new truck right when i bought it. ypou'll have to input your vehichle info to see what they have for your model year.
Husky mats are the only way to go. Have had them in my f-150 and superduty. They fit exactly to the floor area and hold a lot of water, mud, snow in a pocket that you can empty instead of having it all over your carpet. Will set you back $50.00 a set for the front and $50.00 for the rear.
I have the weather tech, they are AWESOME! I live in MN snow, mud etc.. their design drains right out the door, I have 2 kids dragging snow and mud around, the rear definitly protects, it goeas all of the way across.
I have a grey Extreme Catchall single mat in the front and it is awesome. It is definitely worth the money, it doesn't move or shift and you can hose it down with no worries. I had a carpeted set of catchalls in my last truck front and back and the rubber Xtreme line is much better by far.
