Front vibration

Hi guys, my truck (74 F-250) vibrates going down the road (gravel and pavement) when my hubs are in. What is the deal there? When my hubs are free, there is no vibration.

Maybe there's a screw loose somewhere ?

Seriously now...maybe there has been some wear in the system since it was last check for tightness ?

How fast are you going? Maybe check your axle joints and front driveshaft for wear.

Yes it might be loose. It happens at 20 to 50 mph.

It depends on what parts are worn. You need to check the axle joints in your axle shafts and check the u-joints and slip yoke thing on the front driveshaft.

I usually don't drive that fast in 4 wheel drive, so I wouldn't know of anything else to check...
