Hlep decoding an ID plate

I'm having troubling decoding the door plate on this '76 350. Here's what its got:

Color: 8 (it is actually a darker green)
Type/G.V.W.: F353 (F350 what?)
Body: CCD (I assume crew cab something)
Trans: C
Axle: D7
DSO: 48

Thanks, incidentally anything overly interesting / troubling about this?

Sean

Code 8 is Hatteras Green Poly

Type/G.V.W.: F353 (F350 what?)

F353 is the pickup code for an F354 with a 8200 lb Gvw

Body: CCD
(I assume crew cab something)

Wrong

C = Broadcloth & Vinyl seat
C = Interior trim colour (not code C ) are you sure this isn't a G ?
D = ?
The body code for 76 is hard to decifer as it is different than later years and according to truck models.

The second C could mean CrewCab alright.

But there could be a 2 digit code in that 3 digit body.

I'm having trouble finding a D or a CD code
In later years the 3rd digit of the body code was the code for the box and was usually a number like 4.

Trans: C = 3 spd std.

Axle: D7 = Dana 70 - 4.10's

DSO: 48 = Detroit, Mi

Mil1ion you were right. The body is CGD and the transmission is a G. Is the the C6 transmission?
