block heater draw
does anybody know how many amps the block heater should draw while its pluged in ,mine is only 0.1 and my 88 f-250 doesn't start below 30 degr.all help is appreciated guys thank you

I have had several different ones over the years.
The smallest one was 600 watts which would be 5 amps. (21 ohms resistance)
The biggest one was 1500 watts which would be 13 amps. (8.8 ohms resistance)
Are you reading amps or ohms?
