c-6 band question

c-6 band question

Auto c-6, is it the band if it wont shift from 1-2 but can get to second from selecting 2 on the shifter. Or am I just ready for a rebuild. Just curius before I get under there.

check the modulator valveand vaccum going to carb.also check kickdown lever.

where is the modulator valve at? there was a vacuum line that came from the back of the carb, the power brake line I thought, that ended at the middle of the tranny and no connection. maybe this is the line your talking about. i was having carb problems too and plugged up that line and tightened down the manifold and the carb problems went away. maybe slipped off something?

The vacumn modulator is on the rear of the transmission, the vacumn should be hooked to manifold vacumn. If it is not hooked up you will not get upshifts except at extreme throttle.
