I was getting long drawn out shifts that were happening too far up the RPM band. So I adjusted clockwise from rear the small screw at the vac port on the rear of the tranny. then tightened up the band adjustment on the drivers side middle area of the tranny. It took several full turns to get to any real torque, then backed off and took it to about 10# torque.
this helped but the 1~2 shift still seems to be drawn out a bit. Isn't there supposed to be TWO band adjustments on this?
Isn't the front one on the drivers side for 2~3 and another one for R~1?
C6 has only one band adjuster, left side near front. If there are two adjusters its a C4, Intermediate band in the front and low reverse band in the back.
