Solenoid test, how to??
I am working on my son's car. My dad nicknamed it JJ. (Japanese Junk) It's a Mitsu-bitchy. There are 4 solenoids on the valve body. Is there a way to test their functioning?
At 40mph when it should shift into OD it shifts into neutral. Disable OD and it runs great in all other gears. End clutch in it has been replaced.
I just want to test the solenoids before I spend 160.00 on the set of four.
I know this ain't a Ford, but Ford people just seem to be better people and more helpful than riceburner drivers/mechanics. Know what I mean!!!!
