This truck was brought back 12 times for 15 repairs to 4 different dealerships. Not good news.
I bought a '01 buyback with trans issues in August with 13K miles but I looked at the warranty data first and actually called the dealership to find out what they did to fix the truck. It has been problem-free and am glad that I did it. These trucks come with a 12 month, 12K mile bumper-to-bumper warranty from Ford. I do lose out on the remainder of my 5 yr 100K engine warranty.
