Q for Keith about cab stretch

Hey Keith (or others)

Can I use '53-'55 doors for a club cab stretch job on my '56 or are these two doors too different? I would be grafting the rear 1/2's of doors and frames together to get symmetrical rear doors and openings.

I pm'd this to you, too. and this topic may have been touched before-if so, I couldn't find it.

The REAR halfs of doors and frames are the same. The difference is in the forward edge (slant vs. straight).

If you are REALLY adventurous you could shorten a 53-55 door from front to rear and roll the post down, never seen it done but that really doesn't mean a whole lot........

hadn't thought of that concept... Might be a little too much filling when you relief to tighten that top angle. It could be done I suppose. Thanks FF56
