P1451 indicates an electrical fault was detected in the Canister Vent (CV) solenoid. The CV solenoid is located on the charcoal canister which is located under the rear of your truck.
It takes two consecutive drive cycles with a fault to turn on a CEL. You've only driven one so far. Don't be surprised if the CEL and the code both come back today or tomorrow.
If it comes back, be sure to follow the diagnostic in the service manual instead of just swapping out parts. This will prevent wasting money on unneeded parts and will keep the frustration level down.
Steve
I do not have the Service Manual. What is the Diagnostic for the P1451?
Thank
Sam
