I just ordered the Roadmaster ACtive Suspension for my '05, since it has a sway bar already.

I'll post here how that works out,.

Just put on the Hellwig sway bar on and I am very pleased ! Going around corners is night and day, she corners like she's on rales ....... well, it's a lot better now anyway .

Net new. '03 2WD 6.0 did not come with rear sway bar stock w/o some optional tow package ?? HIGHLY recommended !

What are the best frt.and rear springs to install on my 2000 v 10 with 50,000miles. Ford guy but very upset with the ride and handling of my EX.

I have had GMs for a long time. The 02 Suburban was a lot better. The ride and handling of my EX is not the greatest either which was partly why I broke up with her. My Excursion ride also leaves a bit to be desired.

The problem with puting good frt and rear springs is that when you do put F250 springs or go to a Spring shop and tell them you want a heavier spring, you now have a very stiff ride all the way. That would be great for if you are towing a huge load in the bed and behind but what about when you are empty? Maybe airbags are the answer where you can inflate and deflate them as needed?

I'll have to agree, I have airbags and anit-sway and it has made all the difference in the world. Read through this forum and "tuff country traction bars" and you will have some great idea's for a new ride .

Just thought keep you all updated. Towed my boat this weekend the Hellwig sway bar made a big difference. We had 30+ mph cross winds and it was much more stable then before.

V code front B code rear from a late '99-'02 F-250/350 for a 4wd. I can't answer for a 2wd.

Got my Bilsteins shocks today am going to put them on next week. I will let everyone how it works out. Should be towing the boat the following weekend. that will tell all.

Well I got the Bilstein's on yesterday. I only drove the truck about 5 miles and what a difference.

I will be driving about 300 miles this weekend empty so I will see how it is.

Then the following weekend will be the test I will be towing my 38 foot boat.
That will be the ultimate test.

Well ran the Ex this weekend and I am very happy with the news shocks. I was actually able to let go of the wheel and the truck stayed in it's lane.
