no, the seahawks got beat. look at the pitt-indy game. there were several penalties against the steelers, and yet the steelers won the game. they executed when they needed to, and never gave up. all you need do is look at the game saving tackle that rothlisburger made near the end of that game to know that statement is true. the seahawks had several chances to make plays, and they didnt. twice seahawk receivers caught passes down near the goal line, and both times they failed to get BOTH feet in bounds. several times seahawk receivers dropped passes. and dont forget extremely poor clock management at the end of the half and the end of the game. i mean really two plays in 51 seconds? pee wee teams do much better than that. in 51 seconds, the seahawks should have gotten off 4 plays, maybe even 5.
stop crying about the game, and get on with your life. root for the seahawks next season, and hope they win the superbowl next year.
Would the Steelers win all 7 games? Unlikely. However, if you actually watched more games than just the one in February, you would have seen how good the Steelers are. The Seahawks are good, but they are in the NFC. The NFC is not nearly as good as the AFC. I don't know why you are asking me, and I don't know what you expect me to answer. Do I like the Steelers? No, I hate the Steelers. But they were the best team in December/January, and they rolled through Detroit. It's not RocketScience. . .
The PROBOWL was won by the NFC PRO-BOWLERS yesterday.
The AFC have won 18 probowls and the NFC has won 18 probowls too.It is just to diversified to say the AFC is better than the NFC .
Did I once say that the AFC has better athletes, genes, coaches, and hall of famers? No. I don't understand how you can disagree that the AFC, this season, wasn't better than the NFC? Look at the teams in the AFC. Steelers, Colts, Pats, Broncos, Chiefs, Jags, Chargers. The AFC is, IN MY OPINION, much more competitive than the NFC. It is much like how, in the NBA, the Western Conference dominated the East with the Lakers, Spurs, Mavs, etc. just a few seasons ago. I'm not trying to prove a psych theory. All I'm saying is that the AFC was more competitive than the NFC this past season. It seemed pretty obvious to me, but that could be because I watch football.
I'm just busting your ballz for the sport of it...
I really think any any team can lose on any given day...It is just to complex to say the AFC is better than the NFC.Look at INDY they got beat so the theory that the AFC had better competting winning teams is just not possible to figure out until .It boils down to game day and the winning team does not always win.
Like I said before"I don't rally for the AFC or NFC only groupies...I rally for the team that I most agree with on any given day"
I had told my wife I like my home team carolina but would like moreso,to see COACH COWERS/pittsburgh win a superbowl because he is as true to football as you can ever get..He is a players mentor,a fans hooahh, and a true coaches coach he loves his players,city/fans and his teams owner. I did not like some ref calls but hey steelers almost had there game stolen from them in the INDY game and proved that destiny/heart can beat out dishonesty sometimes.
You can't really judge AFC/NFC overall by the Pro Bowl. The Pro Bowl teams don't have the same chemistry that regular season teams have, the players don't have the same coaches the players have had all year, and they don't have the same playbooks they've had all year. It's a fun game to watch, but it's like a pick-up game. There's no need-to-win motive, it's the only time where the game is just a game. Without the need to advance, the chemistry between the teams, and the knowledge of the plays, there really is no good way to analyze it.

I agree we can't judge overall in any case or game...
My post was to just acknowledge that any theory in trying to determine one is better than the other can be proven wrong in most cases.Any teams can lose or win versus there opponent that's why we watch the games..Because we don't have ESP

I know, no hard feelings here. But, I don't think there is anything that is going to change my mind about which conference I think is better. I just think that the AFC, overall, has more teams that can compete for a championship than the NFC. Sure, any team can win on any given day. I mean, even the Texans and Niners won a few games. But, that is just my opinion. And yes, I do like Cowher. I think he is a good coach, and I wanted him to get his ring. But, I didn't want it to be this year. I thought this was gonna be the Colts' year. Oh well. If only they could find a way to keep James and Wayne for next year. . .
351 bronco you said even the niners and texans won a few games .. 351 I SAY:the niners have won 5 superbowls though.
I thought we had already established earlier in this thread that we were talking about this past season, not NFL history. Obviously it wasn't that clear. I know that the Niners have won 5 championships. I am talking about this past season, referring to when you said that any team can win on any given day. The Texans and Niners, two of the worst teams in the NFL THIS PAST SEASON, won a few. Proving that any team can win on any given day. I'm not disagreeing with you about that.
I was referring to when you said AFC was better than NFC..Sorry.
Here's some interesting stuff off topic I guess.
Superbowl champs NFC
Green Bay has 3
Dallas has 5
Pittsburgh 5
San Fran 5
That only list them winning it does not list the times that any of these teams got there but did not win the superbowl.
Just some reading stats not arguing only observing that the NFC can hold its on when push comes to shove.
What AFC team has won the most superbowls of the AFC?How many has that team won?
life is rigged, the steelers deserved it and there was bad calls across the league all year...its been in ? for a while now.......jerome deserved it hes a class act and im a die hard steeler fan
