I am wondering how to lift a 77.5 4x4 crew cab with airbag suspension with a 4 link or radius arm suspension. I want to lift it +6 inches at the average ride height. Also I am wondering if any company makes something specific to that kind of truck. Any pictures or measurements will help. And I am planning to put a 460 motor in would fender well exit headers still work?
No one sells a kit for a air ride suspension on our trucks, but it can be done, and as for as the 460 goes, you can easilly put some fender well exit headers.
You might give Air Ride Tecnologies @ (812) 482-2932 a call. They have a free catalog with a large selection of brackets and systems that I'm sure you could adapt to your application. Go to www.ridetech.com.

Reason: Shouldn't have put the -P. on there-sorry
Go to www.broncograveyard.com and do a search in their 460 swap parts. They sell 2 brands of fenderwell exit headers, one is L&L which is what I use. The other is MadDog which are nice headers, just unfinished so you really need to get them coated.
Are you planning on front AND rear 4 link suspension? I've seen several people piece air suspensions together themselves. One thing you have to be careful of is body roll so be sure you look into a good high travel sway bar.
Welding and fabrication, and a firm knowledge of suspension geometry rank right at the top of the list, along with patience and money. If you're serious, you should read everything you can get your hands on about it.
