What year model
Can anyone tell me what year model this engine block is ? I'm thinking it is a '87 351W (block # is E4AE-6015-FA22 )right below this is a tag stamped in that says 4J6 and there is a #16 stamped in the oil pan rail.This is my first Windsor so I don't know a lot about them...!!!

We have a page on decoding casting numbers at the top of the forum page and you can check there for specifics but to put it in a nutshell it's an '84 with the block cast on Sept. 6th of that year, probably for an '85 model.
