I just got my 74 351 Windsor block back. I was wondering if anyone could give me an estimate of how much HP and torque I should get out of it. It has been bored .030 and has Fed. Mogul pistons, stock crank and rods. I am putting an Edelbrock Performer RPM Cam and Intake on it with a Holley 550.I plan on putting headers on it also but am not sure what kind yet. The heads are stock but have new valves Edelbrock springs, and Comp cams stamped rockers. Please give me any suggestions!
thanks

HP and Torque?
Well, this is hard to determine, since you have a descent cam, and pistons- that's a plus. With exhaust and headers I would think you should see approassume 9.5 compression). 280hp and 350fpt around 4500rpm at most. The stock heads are what really kills the 351w. For a daily driver, stock heads are great, but if your hoping for anything more, you need better heads. It should bee a very reliable truck, and it still should have no problem gettin out of its own way.
