Hello all FTE'ers! The lurker from Philly,PA here. When I last posted about 1 month ago, I asked a general question regarding the value of my 67F250 Camper Special. Without going on in great detail again, she needs a tranny rebuild and lots of TLC, but just seeing her sitting there in the lot, she's a good looking truck!! Anyway, I believe we arrived at a fair asking price of about $800.00. So to anyone interested, she is officially for sale. I did not renew registration or inspection, both were expired as of 6/30/01. I just wanted to put her up to the people who could really appreciate the truck and may have more than general interest in her.
Again, without getting into mind numbing detail, I made a pretty bad decision job wise about three months ago, and things have gotten really tight financially. I just don't have the bucks to get her up and running, cause if she was I'd be driving her daily.
I also have the problem of parking her in Philly. I have her parked across from where I live, a "municiple" parking lot, that is about to be rehabed. I can't leave her on the street with out of date stickers.
Anyway, there you have it, One construction guy who was working on the parking lot today asked about it while I kicked her over and ran her for a while. Nothing serious, he was checking for someone he knew who collects old vehicles?!
OK, thanks for reading(listening!)
