Thanks guys. I really appreciate the welcome home.
As we still have lots of our people over there, please continue to support them, as many of you helped me all year. There is nothing better for them than to know that people back home support and appreciate the work and sacrifices they make. That matters more than anything else.
To all of you that are still over there in Iraq, Afghanistan, ond those "other" places, Be Safe and everyday is a day closer.
Thanks a million, Rich! Welcome back home... must be nice to be out of that sandpit and back in the world. You've got a great wife taking care of your truck while you're gone!
PS - how are you liking the Recon cab lights she had installed?

Love 'em. They look sweet. Much nicer than the old orange ones.
They are also brighter than the factory ones. I thought they would be darker, just because of the tint, but the bulbs that Recon supplies are actually brighter than the factories.
He seems to be- are you supposed to enjoy basic? He passed all of his tests and is headed for Redstone afterwards.
Ahhhhhhh, it all depends on the DS's and the guys in that class. I had classes that thought they would never stop getting broke off. Then I had others that after the first 3 weeks of total control, I could actually treat pretty normally. It all depends on how fast they pull together and help each other out.
If they keep acting as individuals and not working as a team, the beatings continue. Eventually peer pressure helps take care of things.
You always have the morons that try to push the system and this makes it painful for everybody. After being a DS for 3 years, there is one thing I learned..........Somebody ALWAYS know that someone was planning to do dumb things. If they knew and didn't do anything about it, they brought pain on themselves. the sooner they learn that, the more fun they can have and the less I had to be in their crap.
Glad to hear you made it home safely BFR. Get those bugs worked out in the truck and get it broke in! I'm sure you'll have some killer pics in no time.
I plan on getting some good pics when I ger home.......again. I'm in El Paso right now, but I'm planning a little "testing" this coming weekend. Some of the local guys have a little event scheduled, so I'm gonna try and work it out a little.
Can't wait to see how that thing does in some slightly nastier stuff.
