octane boost??
I am going to full my truck up with 91 oct. on friday but there will still about 1/4 tank of 87 oct. (in a 37.5 gal tank) left in the tank and I really want to run the performance setting on my Edge Evo. Is it safe to dump in some octane boost just to make sure that I have at least 91 in the whole tank??

Paul, it's my OPINION that octane boost is right up there with snake oil, and I've seen times when it can do harm.
I'd suggest you burn that tank down and fill up with the 91 again before you use that crap in your fuel system.

octane boost is a joke. you will foul the plugs out with a red residue from the tulene. octane boosters raise it 3 points big deal each point is equal to .10 so you turn 87 octane into 87.3
