Lighted LED Program Switch/ 2 stage Delta

I was looking into getting the 2 stage Diablo Delta chip with the 91 octane and the 87 octane programs. What I was wondering is, if I also get the lighted LED Program switch with it, will the off postion return my Expedition to the stock program?
Off would be: stock program
Green light/1st program would be 87 octane
Red light/2nd program would be 91 octane

I have a 98 EB Expedition with 94,000 miles on it. Is this to many miles to add a chip?

Thanks for the Help

I think they can program the banks so you get what ever color you want for each function. I'm sure Ken will correct me if I'm wrong.
I'm curious as to why you would want the light for that configuration, the only time you would use the switch is when fill the tank up, or take the truck in for service.
As far as milage, it doesn't matter how many miles you have.
If you have and automatic, get the chip, it's worth the price for the tranny improvements alone.

The lights are what is on the site for this switch, I was just using the color's to ask my question. It has nothing to do with what color's I want or come with the switch.

Hope this clear's up my question.

Green (center) and red (position opposite the notch in the threads) can be programmed any way you want. The LED off is always stock.

I was just reading about the Diablo Tuner and think that I'll wait until it comes out. I like the ideal of just plugging it in and programing in 87 octane for daily use and 91 octane for trips. But what really sold me on it was that it can read codes also. I was planning on getting a code reader which goes in Calif. for around $150 and up (depending on which make and model you buy).

Question:Can I also switch back to the stock program when I have to take it into Ford?
and if yes, How does it know which program to install? or does it came preprogramed already when I order it?

Thanks
GITanker

Sorry GI, guess I misunderstood the question. The tuner will give you a much wider range of options, and of course most of them double as a code reader. They do come with several choices of tune already programed, including return to stock.
