I can't seem to find any info on colours for 1996 model year.My truck is dark green and silver and I want to get some touch up paints but don't know the names of the colours.
FYI, the paint code is on the VIN tag in the door jam. It is near the bottom of the tag and is listed next to EXT (or E, something that designates exterior). There is also an interior code which is listed next to the exterior code.

Yes I found the paint codes but had no idea what colours the codes meant.I also couldn't find them for anything older than 1999.
This where I got the touch-up paint for my 94 F-150 Flareside. Tobago Green Clearcoat Metallic was a limited run color. Paintscratch matched it perfectly.
They custom mix the paint. This way you are sure to get a fresh batch, not something that's been sitting on the shelf for 2 years...

Find out where there is an automotive paint suppply store in your area, give them the paint code and they will be able to mix you some paint.
Ask them if they have a paint analyzer b/c you can give them your fuel filler door (make sure to polish it first) and they can better match your paint.
