trying again hard cold start
hoped to get some kind of answer a few days ago. Ran the codes pulled up a 24. Air charge sensor. According to the Ford info site, ACT does not usually cause trouble. F150 88 5.0 Anyone had this kind of problem

If the ACT goes your fuel to O2 ratio will be f'd in the A. Ive never heard of one going before but you can always pick one up. Without it messing up and once it does go you are stranded due to the fact the engine cant measure to air to fuel due to temp. Before you do buy though check out your:
Coolant level
Radiator Fan
Engine Temperature
Ambient temperature
Air Filter
Air Filter to Throttle Body Duct
Water pump and Fan Belts
Thermostat
EGR System
Engines general condition
Harness and wire general condition
All those things can throw off everything but since you are starting cold check the wiring for the sensor and the filter and ducting.
