This is my first time here. I have a 1966 Camper Special F 250 I was wondering if anyone can tell me where I can get clips to hold the wide molding on? Also I need headliner. Some idiot I let put a back window in for me destroyed my beautiful origional. I thought I had a 352 in it but fellow at auto store said that I can't go by that as they used the same block for the 390 (with 352 stamped on) This truck was a camper special and the camper was included in the sale Truck was very well kept. The bed was NEW when I took the camper off. The no scratch tailgate was wrapped in a baby blanket and kept in the camper where the dining table should be stored. It had headers on it and has the git up and go! I let this sit for 10 years. I thought I may sell it and had a buyer for 3.5K but he wanted to hear it run. Get this I put gas in it put a batt. in it set man. choke and after gas got to carb varoom! after 30 sec I pushed in the choke and it sat there saying......about time! I didn't sell it ANY truck that can do that after sitting outside I'm not selling! I ran it on prem. with marvel Mystery oil ..If I run it much what has to be done to run on modern crap gas? MMO seemed to work okay. How can I tell if this is the origional motor? thanks Lance
so I should have some heads ready to put on. What do they do to make heads crap gas worthy? Is it something that I can do? or does it have to go to machine shop?

Newer vehicles have hardened valve seats. Many older vehicles have already been converted so I wouldn't rush out to buy some heads as long as your truck is running well.
And yes, valve seat installation is done by a machine shop.
Thanks, I plan to put it on road in Pa. as an antique...I will do that work and whatever else. Would love to put a diesel/ac/upgrade brakes and use it as every day.
can't believe it! You know I put off the brake job thinking parts would be difficult to get. Walked into auto zone got MC $45 outright and all brake cyl for $52 this would have been fixed long ago had I known the prices/avaliability thanks for your help
