American made
American made parts account for only 1% of the Chrysler Crossfire. 96% of the Ford F-150 Heritage Truck is American.

Well, yeah. The Crossfire is based off the previous generation Mercedes-Benz SLK. It's pretty much a Mercedes-Benz with an American brand badge on it.

I drove one of the new Crossfires, nephew of mine bought one. Neat little car, fairly quick and handles like a slot car..... I would say Chrysler and Mercedes really got that one right!!!!

Thats probably if you only count each piece individually. If you counted by mass or weight, I bet that stat would be diffrent. Aren't all the blocks made out of country?

According to the window sticker, the Dodge Ram 1500 has 60 percent US/Canada content (if you count that as "American"). The Toyota Tundra window sticker shows 85 percent US/Canada content. DCX is a German company, yet many still cling to the myth that there is still a "big three".

I'm going to assume that 96% american statement means NORTH american produced. That would include Canada and Mexico.

LOL, that's what I was wondering. God bless the internet for offering a "source" on any view you like.

That's right. 75% of the web seems to be BS.
