Yup, your avatar is the OLD Georgia flag. The Stars and Bars were removed to placate a very vocal civil rights organization who threatened the state with a lawsuit. The governor caved in. Here is the new flag.

The same thing was tried in Mississippi, the governor insisted the question be put to the voters. Their flag, which also prominently displays the Stars and Bars, stayed as is by popular vote of the people.

I'll tell you what the best flag is.

It's the one YOU like hanging off of the flag pole in what ever state you choose.
