Yes they are.

The difference is one is up close to see detail & the other is further away like you are looking at it from a couple hundred feet from it.
Well I was looking at Georgia's flag, I learned later that it had been changed in 2003. and one of the sites has the old one.

Well I am kinda partial to the Arizona flag but I am an Arizona native also.
Ok I probably need to see psychiatrists a to live in this retirement money sucking no good paying job state for soooooo many years but the desert relay grows on ya, 350 days a year of sunshine no blues here. If you look at our flag the blue is held down with our world class sun sets.

Georgia's has gone through some changes. I agree that Arkansas' flag is pretty cool - pays homage to the state's history without offending anyone. And Arizona's is pretty good. Ohio is unique in that it's the only state flag in the USA that isn't a square or rectangle.

And I could really like Wyoming's except that they've branded the poor old buffalo with the state seal. I just don't like state seals on state flags. (JMHO) And as for a buffalo - what about Manitoba. Now that's a good looking buff.

I like New Mexico's flag. It's unmistakable and different.

Also I like South Carolina and Alaska flags.

Texas too.

Thumbs up I'm with Dennis, plus some trivia.

I think that BC has the prettiest flag anywhere. And I don't live there or agree with their politics. I just think it's visually stunning. Just complicated enough to be interesting. Although for simple flags, Nunavut is great. For all you 'mercans out there, who can name the item in the centre of the Nunavut flag?

"The colours, blue and gold, symbolize the riches of the land, sea and sky. Red is a reference to Canada. The inuksuk symbolizes stone monuments which guide people on the land and mark sacred and other special places.

The star is the Niqirtsuituq, the North Star and the traditional guide for navigation. The North Star is also symbolic of the leadership of elders in the community"
.

Cool flag- although I'm partial to BC's too.

If I remember right it a represation of the sun. I guess they lost thier creativity coming up with it.

I am not partial to any of the U.S. Flags, except one from the past. " Don't tread on me" with a Rattle Snake. I live in Connecticut and think our shield Flag needs a remake! Like a picture I got sent from a friend. Two story outhouse. Politicians on top and Citizens on the bottom. It would look more reliable of a moto flag to me personaly.
