At the bottom of the steering column you'll find the lever that the shifter cable attaches to. There are 2 screws that hold the lever on. Make sure they are tight.
They are Torx head screws.
The lift lever tube is held to the steering column with 2 clamps & bushings, sometimes the bushings wear or even slide out of the clamp. If this is the case, you will have to drop the steering column and replace the bushings.
