Changing the shift points?

Can't remember what that little ******* is called... the little bulb on a C6 trans where the vac line goes in? Is it true that I can adjust when it shifts by turning that little screw? My trans shifts sooner than I'd like and that'd be sweet.

Little bulb

Is called a vacuum modulator.

The small screw inside can be turned in.
Which will raise the shift points a few kilometers / miles per hour.

Behind the valve is a short pin that can be lengthened which will have a greater affect.

As to the small internal screw, turn it in (clockwise), to raise the RPM shift points. Turn it out (counterclockwise) to lower the RPM shift points.
