A bud of mine has 25 various ford trucks from 60-66 he has 2 64 f250 4x4s that are stump pullers. The 63 f250 is a beaut! He has one unibody that is still a project (he broke the bellhousing putting it in and gave up). He also has a 67 2 ton that is mint. I have been trying to have him join our forum (he is a bit of a freak and would not want personal info online) (a bit of a unibomber type)lol I call it OCD obsessive compulsive disorder. lol good guy tho
The 76 kind of caught me off guard so its still sitting. I'm busy cutting up junk to make space. I got rid of the Corolla last weekend that was a lawn target, next on the list is an old Celebrity. After that I should be able to move around abit. Thankfully we don;t have much snow this year or I'd be alot less active out there.
Yes the snow is really scarce. I am glad I didnt buy a sled this year like I was going too! And that calling all cars guy, where abouts in manitoba is he? Also keep in mind I probably wont know where it is, Only places in manitoba I know are the peg, brandon and flin flon!
We'll I know he's in Douglas and to me that means somewhere west of Thunder Bay You'll have to get more details from some of the locals on this chapter.
That's just east of brandon a few miles and just to the south of #1 highway. I've never met the guy, or heard of him before, but that's where douglas is. Does he have a website?
Like fullcrew said, he's in Douglas, which is about 15 minutes east of Brandon. Yup, he has a website www.callingallcars.ca I don't know how often its updated, but if you've never been he has some neat stuff.
On Tuesday i went to the new princess auto store. They have inside for display a project Model T car made into a truck. It is not finished, has V8 and lots of changes to it. They put a 350 Chebby engine on it. They chopped a model T truck box and mounted it on. The T was a 4dr and they shorten it. If you have time go check it out.
It` s a neat little rat rod unfinished, further in the store was/is a shiny Ford Flattie V8 sitting on an engine stand. Princess Auto is getting to be a cool store and well worth checking out but be ready to spend sometime in there. I always come out with less $ than when I went in with.
Hey Pryo, they moved the Princess Auto store closer to you. It's now out by Sask Place. Now you don't have to drive all the way through Saskatoon to get to it. You still have that hour drive though.
