Any older red/white Ford truck spins my crank. Dad bought a new red/white 67 Mercury Ranger, was and is still the sweetest truck to me. I have a red 69 F100 Custom cab and a red 71 F350, both orginal but slightly thin paint and fairly rust free. Gotta lovem!
Had another look at the red F100 in Saskatoon as I drove by hauling grain with the semi and couldn`t stop for a closer look, appears to be a 71.

All those old years of fords had such nice body shape to them. Plus a guy can sometimes get lucky and find them in decent shape.

I wish I could say projects pile up quick around my place! Seems like all the cool projects I find are either done or cost way too much when I find them!

I've met the calling all cars guy! Woohoo. He comes to the Barrie flea market every year. He a hell of a nice guy and tells it like it is. He comes accross things you don;t see everyday some neat old stuff.
Otherwise all the cool rides out here are in hiding from the salt chunks for atleast another 2 months.

Better hiding than rusting I'd say, but I do miss seeing them around on the roads.

I was gonna two years ago. He had a 69 Torino GT in really good shape (all body work done, sitting in primer) had no powertrain, needed interior help, lighting stuff, but he only wanted $800. I told him I'd come look at it when the snow melted, but it was already sold by then.

A fella I used to work with bought a 66 F100 long box of him. He brought it out to Barrie for him. The shape was good but the 900$ was better. He had it running that day. You can't knock the guys prices and like I said he tells it like it is. If it has no floor he means it. I haven't seen him in 2 years but would know him again in a second. Approachable and not afraid to have a good chat.
AS for me no I never bought a thing off him, my yard is full as it is.

Any plans on the 76 F250 4X4 yet truckfarmingcanuck?
I can see from your gallery that your yard is full and you probably have more hidden away but that would be a neat truck to fix up. There is a simlar F250 4X4 down the road from me but is a very beatup farm truck. Looks like it was used up and left in the corner of the yard were it finally died. I was going to ask about it but I have to first finish all the projects I already have. Last spring when I was doing snow removal I came across a 68 F100 4X4 complete frame/ V8 4 speed power train which I bought. I am now wondering what to do with it, it`s neat but....Could put it under my 69 F100 Ranger parts truck.
