It's a pretty addictive show for sure.
The prices that some of the cars are going for is amazing!
The more I see of that show the more I think I should buy the 69 Mustang that I've been looking at and restore it.
you should try working at the airports in phoenix, it is one jet after another, this is where we aer talking big money. all of the rich ones flying in to the auction
The thing that impresses me is that we're always talking about losing all of our industries, and that we're going to end up as a nation of hamburger flippers. Well, think about how much money is being generated here. All the parts suppliers, etc., plus how much income is created for the Scottsdale area in the way of renting hotel rooms, selling food, etc. Practically all of this is done in the USA, by the people of the USA, for the people of the USA. Can't outsource this kind of stuff folks. Shows what a resiliant economy we have--I love it.
You have mixed emotions watching the show. When a vehicle with either a unique history, or thousand of hours and untold dollars spent in restoring it to perfection, and it results in the prices these vehicles bring - and you end up with a trailer queen or a permanently moored garage anchor, what have car lovers gained?
True that Mundt! I would drive my 64 fairlane 500 4 dr every day if the old 260 wasn't so tired! I think that there are only a few cars that should "sit" everything else should be driven......
What makes me mad about Barret Jackson is I grew up in that era. I had A 69 Chevelle SS. Brother owned a Hemi Cuda. If we only knew we could retire wealthy.
