I cant say either way. True there is nothing ever on tv anymore thats worth watching. Except for a few car shows and motorcycle shows. But i cant stay on the net all day, i get bored. Same with tv, cant stay in front of it all day, ill get bored. So when i get bored with one, i go to the other. When i get bored with both i go do something outside, or go clean my guns. Hell sometimes i just walk around my 60 acres with my dogs to see how many deer i can jump up in the tall grass, or just go out and harrass the cows (which are not mine btw, lol).
I would choose internet and my computer. I usually only watch movies (DVD) on TV and the news and I can do both on my computer and project them on a big screen if I choose. I can also get the news via internet. So if I had to choose i choose internet but I am glad I can have both!
Internet. I don't watch a lot of tv, I enjoy it when I do, but I love the net. Besides, if I want to watch a movie, can load the dvd in the comp, if I want to see the news, internet has it.
definetly internet, i dont see how i lived before i got the internet i dont watch tv hardley anymore unless its before i go to bed in my room, im sure glad i got the internet its helped me out a lot and specially this site.
I used to watch TV alot. But since I have had the internet I hardly ever watch TV anymore. Sometimes I will turn it on just for the extra noise because I am usually here by myself at nights. I have my computer sitting opposite of my TV so I can still see what it going on. There are only a couple of shows that I do watch and even then, I am still usually on the internet or at the computer doing something.
On the rare occasions there actualy is something worth watching on TV, they have so many commercial interuptions, I run out of patience and quit watching. I try to record anything that I like, so I can watch at my own convenience and zip through the commercials. Too cheap to get Tivo! So needless to say, I'd rather be on the Internet.
I cant wait til we take down the christmas tree. I cant see the TV from the computer lol and as for anyone who says TV you have to be on the internet to be here. just a thought
I like the History channel and science and documentary programs a lot but overall I am much more interested in the people and information on the internet.
A little ironic that most people who answer this poll will see it in the first place because they spend time surfing.
