4wd shifter broken
The 4wd shifter lower lever assembly is a cast part that snapped. I'm having trouble seperating the upper lever (shift lever with ****) from the lower assembly(cast part under the vehicle mounted to the transfer case.) Also there is a small pin with a plastic bushing that connects the lower assembly to the rod that moves the lever that shifts from 2 to 4wd. How do I get both of these apart?

If I'm remembering correctly the shifter lever is clamped in the cast lower.You might have to take the pinch bolt out to slide the lever out.You just pry the arm off that goes between the lower assy. and the T-case.It's been a few yrs since I had mine apart- alittle foggy!
Good luck w/a replacement- a friend broke his and the cast one was discontinued.The new part # was $$$$$$
