I just thought I would throw the question out there.
I would like to upgrade the bench seat in my 1970 F250 and don't want to drill new holes into the floor board of the truck so what seats have been swapped into these trucks without any major rework?
Just by changing the bottom plate of the track which unbolts from the old seat and on to the new one. That way it fits the holes in the floor, these are very comfortable seats by the way. I did it on my 71 F350 in less than an hour.
I was actually wondering the same thing, but my question is if its possible to throw in bucket seats from a oldsmobile. Reason being that ive found them to be in excellent condition for a small price. Also the seats are white italian leather and that would go great with what im doing.

QUOTE]As long as the seats are not too thick, tall and bulky with too much of a lean back. I put 75 T-Bird leather buckets in my 75 F100 and found the there wasn`t enough space to do it properly. The seat backs would slightly rub on the back window and were too close to the steering wheel. It did work but not very well. Too bad as the seats were very comfortable.
Since we are talking about seats, will carpet fit a 72 floor plan?? I checked at the local parts store. They have vinal for the 72, but no carpet. That starts for 73?
