You should have four small holes in the face of the cd player, go to auto parts store and get removel tool. the tool goes in the holes and unlock player and pulls right out.
Or if you want to save yourself a few bucks and a trip to the quto parts store, you can try what I did when I repalced my stock stereo two years ago. Take a wire coat hanger and cut, bend, fashion it into two wide mouth U shapes. Simultaneously insert both ends of both U shapes into the holes and the thing will slide right out like butta'......
Don't know about the new unit, can 'ya post a pic if possible?

I bought the tool for $7.04 including tax at Shucks.
It came out.
It turns out that my replacement unit is a newer bolt in model with a wide faceplate, so I took a #9 Torqz and took the frame off, swapped face plates and slid it in, like butta, I don't have blinding acceleration or go off road too much so it isn't likely to slide out. Vibration may be an issue.
Any Idea how to mount a set of DIN clips to it to make it like stock?
