After nearly two years my truck finally started, but only by pouring gas down the carb. My local parts house is having trouble finding a part number for a new fuel pump.
Where have you found a pump and do you remember the part number? I need one that operates vacuum wipers.
The local Parts house I use is a "Bumper to Bumper" affiliate. Ive had pretty good luck for older parts. A fuel pump for my 51 flathead was in the next day.
Just got a new catalog in from MAC's antique auto parts. They list a fuel pump for the 223 /vacuum wipers. Part #B9A-9350-B, a bit pricey @ $75. Their web site is www.macsautoparts.com.
I finally found one at National Parts Depot. It's the story of my life that as soon as I buy one people have theirs for sale. Thanks for all the suggestions.
Thanks for the ideas. I tried NAPA and Autozone but came up empty at both places. Every store I tried had a pump, but none of them had one that would run the vacuum for the wipers.
