Ford fuel pump part #?

I am replacing my fuel pump and I called Ford because u have a dealer account with great prices. They quoted me $380 and says its a fuel pump/sender assembly. Does anyone have the proper part number for the 7.3 fuel pump only?

That sounds like the wrong part...ie: in tank pump, which a 2000 f250 doesn't have.

Riffraff has the fuel pump for your truck for under 150.00. The sending unit and pickup are in the tank. Problems there can be taken care of for less than 50.00 bucks, its called the hutch mod. Do a search for it and read. Actuall very easy to do. The oem pump is Bosch.

I know about Riffraff. I was trying to get the pump local if I can. That's why I was looking for the correct ford part #. Thanks

Sorry man, I just looked at you sig. and its obvious your familiar with RR.
You could get it off of the Tousley ford site. I have a new spare bosch pump I could get the # from, but doubt its the same as the Ford #.

Hey crewcab, I'm actually surprised I don't see the hutch mod in your sig, or did you just not list it? You have eveything else and then some.
Jim.

Yes I did the hutch mod. After a while it gets hard to fit all the mods in the amount of sig space. I need to abbreviate a bit more. I tried the Toulsey site and its not cooperating with my phone. For some reason I can only get to the first page of fuel pumps and they all list as pump/sender assembly.

Yea, I deleted things to. I went to Horizon Ford on the home puter, and your right, all I can find on superduty diesels show the pump in the tank. Now we know that aint right. Maybe they will give you the part # on the phone. Are you in a pinch time wise?
Jim.

I consider the Bosch to be unreliable (i had too many to fail). The Airtex PN is E2236 available at Oreillys (etc) for around $150.

I just checked that part number and that is the same part number as my Ford dealer quoted me just under $400 for. WOW can that really be just the fuel pump? I get good pricing with my account, what would be the price for the guy who walks in off the street? $581.00 !!! For that much you could get some type of Airdog or similar setup! Wow are they proud of there fuel pumps!

The fuel pump I have is on the driver's side frame rail. I replaced the OEM unit with a Walbro 392 off Ebay for about $100. Nyx isn't my daily driver now so the mileage is down from the 20k+ I used to do annually, but it's still a solid performer. Unless you need it TODAY, overnighting a Bosch pump from Clay would be cheaper.
